NAWEM is a non-governmental organisation established in 1993. NAWEM was founded on the firm belief that the full realisation of human potential is limited only by the acquisition of skill, knowledge, and the availability of information and opportunities.

Our members' businesses span manufacturing, IT, financial services, education, aerospace, trading, food and beverage, engineering, and more.

NAWEM founded

Established as a non-governmental organisation to unite Malaysian women in business.

November 2009

NAWEM Penang launched

Penang Affiliates of NAWEM (PAN) officially launched, serving the Northern region, now a major player in women's empowerment through seminars, field trips, and conferences.

8 September 2014

NAWEM Kuching inaugurated

The Sarawak Chapter continues to grow in strength, taking women entrepreneurs in the region beyond its boundaries.
